Volunteer for NSPCC Schools Service
Our Speak out Stay safe programme is protecting a generation of children against abuse one primary school at a time. And we want you to join us.
As our volunteer, you'll visit local schools giving assemblies to children aged 5-11 and classroom workshops to 9-11 year olds. You'll help them to understand abuse. And give them the confidence and courage to speak out and seek help if they ever need it.
By delivering our programme to at least two schools a month, you'll be making a massive difference, helping us fight for every childhood in your local school's community.

Volunteer with Save the Children Edinburgh
Come along to our weekly meeting on Mondays at 6pm in Chaplaincy in Room 2, Bristo Square to see how you can get involved! We believe that all children have the right to education, good health and to have fun. Society members collectively choose our campaign focus, including one UK and one international cause, with opportunities to engage in public speaking. So come along and meet our society to find out more!
Members can be trained as speakers (for free) to lead talks and workshops on the charity's work. This is known as Speaking Out, which is a fantastic opportunity and part of what makes us unique as a society.
